New Features

• Free Edition users: The free edition now includes access to features previously limited to Premium and restricts the number of licenses to 5 users. Additional users will require a purchase.

Performance and Usability Improvements

• Gantt Charts
  • New custom settings
    • Set Print Gantt defaults for granularity and “External” filter.
    • Option to load on current date (instead of “Start Date”).
  • Manage Project Plan will keep expand/collapse after saving.
  • Critical path functionality. A Project’s critical path represents the longest sequence of Tasks that must be completed on time to finish the Project. Not all projects have critical paths, and some projects have multiple possible paths. Critical paths can be highlighted with the “Show Critical Path” button on the Project’s Gantt chart.

    By default, the slack — the gap between a successor Start Date and its predecessor Due Date — is 1 day; Tasks with more than a 1-day difference would not be part of a critical path. This can be changed with the custom setting “Critical Path Maximum Slack.”

• Resource Management
  • Task Filters added to Resource Gantt tab.
  • Availability will be adjusted for Holidays.
  • Allocation Gantt will show a Resource’s percentage.
• Time Entry LWC option to show current week entries only.
• New Milestone template LWCs
  • “Milestone Export” will export the Milestone and its Tasks as a template. Add to the Milestone page layout.
  • “Milestone Import” will import Milestone templates to a Project. Add to the Project page layout.
• New custom settings for date shifting
  • “Disable Task Date Rollback” allows Task dates to be outside its Milestone’s dates or before a Predecessor Task due date.
  • “Disable Milestone Date Rollback” allows Milestone dates to be outside its Project’s dates or before a Predecessor Milestone due date.
  • Otherwise (unchecked), child dates will revert to previous dates.
• Project and Milestone page improvements.
