We’re excited about a Data Quality Helper feature that gives users more options. The addition of an ‘Exclude Nulls’ checkbox to duplicate rule criteria means users can now prevent a Duplicate Rule from matching records when fields are null/blank. The checkbox is defaulted to ‘checked’ when creating new Duplicate Rules. To see the full list of updates, go to Data Quality Helper Release Notes v2.11.
With Data Quality Helper, Salesforce users are notified when bad or duplicative data is entered based on criteria chosen by Admins. This ensures users are entering or updating complete, correct, and non-duplicative data. Hard or Soft Customizable Data Validation & Duplicate Resolution Rules empower Admins to create reminders and warnings for users, which are displayed when certain criteria are met. In addition, Data Cleanup Rules let Admins easily manage data storage and automate a record deletion strategy.
Now you can make changes to the Lightning Gantt chart custom settings! We’re also excited about the Export Template Project button — it features a modal that uses LWCs for faster loading. Handling “Record Locks (UNABLE_TO_LOCK_ROW) Exception” Message (10K views on Passage Technology’s Knowledge Base)
This is a common Salesforce issue that can be addressed in Rollup Helper. When you receive this message, it is the result of two different sources trying to make edits to the same record at the same time in Salesforce. It’s usually caused by conflicting process updates, but it could also be a user conflicting with an automated process, or two user updates conflicting.
