The primary goal of the Senior Business Development Consultant is to further prospects along through the sales funnel resulting in a sale. Also, create and foster Salesforce partner relationships to open doors to prospects and help close sales. Attend special training of services to understand the technical aspects of solutions. Handle the entire sales process from proposal to close. Solicit and maintain contact with prospect key accounts. Track activity, prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account status.
- Senior Business Development Consultant will be able to perform demos for all apps in addition to basic and complex development service opportunities. A proven track record is necessary in a strategic/key account sales position and some defining differences are:
- Ability to host a boardroom meeting setting.
- Actively identify and generate prospects through strategic sales strategies focusing on customers in target markets.
- Proficiently work / coordinate with multiple resources within a customer’s organization and within Passage Technology.

- To deliver our sales messages over the phone and via email and refine them over time. Work with marketing to hone the marketing message.
- The Senior Business Development Consultant will provide campaign ideas and suggestions for improvements and additions to marketing content.
- Pass along any intelligence passively found regarding where the contact heard about us.
- Sales
- To exceed the pre-defined sales quota.
- To clearly articulate business value to the customer.
- To drive prospects to sales ready status and close the deal.
- Outbound calling to a designated list of contacts within internal Salesforce org and to individuals that are posting on specific forums in order to promote Passage Technology products and further prospects along the sales pipeline.
- Join and follow social media channels to participate in conversations that may generate opportunities for our business.
- Schedule and conduct Demos/Discussions with prospects and involve other members of the Sales, Operations or Development Services teams as needed.
- Identify sales automation opportunities.

- Maintain opportunity and account profile information in our Salesforce database.
