Lookup Helper Release Notes v10.10
2023/08/11
New Functionality
- We added the ability to create criteria based matching Lookup Helper Settings. These settings greatly expand the flexibility of Lookup Helper. When criteria based matching is enabled on a Lookup Helper setting, records are related only when filter criteria are met. For example, we can relate all Leads from a company size of 1-50 to an Account Manager who specializes in small businesses.
Usability Improvements
- Updated the in-app Admin Guide.
- Added the object name of each lookup relationship field in the child and parent matching field select lists on the Create/Edit Lookup Helper Setting page.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where a “SOQL OFFSET clause is not supported in Batch Apex” error would be hit in some instances when a Lookup Helper Setting was using a parent filter.
- Fixed an issue where a “List index out of bounds” error would be hit in rare instances when a Lookup Helper Setting was using a child filter.
- Modified a warning message that occurred when an org’s Record Scope was below 50 to allow users to ignore the warning if the low Record Scope value was intentional.
- Added a loading spinner while enabling real-time on an object to prevent users from accidentally double clicking, which would sometimes cause an error.
- Fixed an issue where a null reference error would sometimes cause the View Exceptions page to not be able to load properly.
- Fixed an issue where Lookup Helper Settings which used multi-level formula lookup fields as the child field to match to a parent field of Name/ID would not run correctly.
- Updated the API version of which in-app Apex Triggers are deployed from 45.0 to 50.0.
- Fixed an issue where buttons on the View Exceptions page were not aligned properly.
- Fixed an issue where users would sometimes receive “Too Many Query Rows” errors when a setting with a parent filter was run in real-time.
