New Features

• Portfolio expands Program capabilities by allowing Projects to relate to multiple Portfolios. To create one, go to the Portfolio tab or add the “Project Portfolio” related list to the Project page layout.
• Manage Project Plan LWC without switching from the Gantt chart.
• Validate Weekly Total Hours, new custom setting, will require users to enter the time set on their Resource’s “Workweek Duration” field (default is 40) before submitting for approval.
• Custom Time Entry Approve/Deny Emails, new custom setting, when checked will allow managers to customize the email sent to users after approving or denying time submissions.
• Classic Gantt Custom Field Columns, new field set, adds columns for custom fields on the classic Project/Milestone/Task Gantt charts.
• New filters when printing Gantt charts.

Performance and Usability Improvements

• Edit templates in Salesforce from the Import Template tab.
• Import templates with inactive users as Record Owners.
• Resource Allocation tab renamed Resource Management.
  • Finder can assign Tasks and filter by Project, Tasks, team, and skills required.
  • Allocation Gantt can be printed.
  • User interface enhancements.
• Resources won’t be created for licenses that can’t be assigned to tasks, preventing errors when managing resources.
• Resources can now be marked as inactive, making them unavailable for Task assignments and removing them from Resource Availability.
• New fields for Project Resource and Task Resource junction objects pull information from the related resources.
• Time Entry LWC now displays time entered by all resources for each week.
• Key Dates LWC checkbox to filter items where the current user is either owner or the assigned resource.
• Milestones and Tasks can be marked complete when Tasks are blocked.
• Milestone’s “Complete” checkbox field will sync with the “Stage” field value Complete.
• Milestones PM+ Help has a new user interface and “Getting Started” section.

Bug Fixes

• “Percent Complete” field will update when Tasks are modified on the Gantt’s Manage Project Plan.
• Project Configurations “Exclude weekend work” will update these checkbox fields on all child records.
• Status cascading now works for predecessor/successor Milestones.
• Submit Time from Entry Grid without saving.
• Gantt drag-and-drop miscalculation due to the user’s current timezone fixed.
• “Display Tasks On Program Gantt Chart” custom setting works with Lightning Gantt.
• Weekly Time Validation custom setting error when the user had the exact required time is fixed.
• Successor Task email notifications will contain record hyperlinks for User Resources only, not Contact Resources.
• To-Do LWC record links now work correctly.
• Summary page granularity filter and column styling fixes.
• The Project Trigger Creation page can now create triggers from packaged objects with API names containing double underscores.
• Microsoft Project templates will import the correct dates.
• LWCs added to incompatible pages will display an error message.
• Other miscellaneous bug fixes.
