Business Problem:  

Salesforce won't allow you to rollup information from assets to account without coding.

Solution:  

When Assets are used in Salesforce, you could have a checkbox or other target fields populated on the account record to indicate what asset has has been deployed to an account.

  1. Rollup the information on the Asset object to the Account page via Text rollup. You could then reference this information in a formula field elsewhere in the system such as on the campaign member object via the contact -> account relationship.
  2. You can then create a campaign member based report or view this info on the campaign member record page to help sales reps who are following up on events/seminars to see what assets a customer has.
