Campaign Metrics - Number of Campaigns

Problem

As an Sales Representative or Marketing Manager, I want to see the number of Campaigns a Contact has been a member of.  This will help me analyze relationship building as well as how many campaigns it took to close a sale.

Solution

You can display a number of Campaigns on a Contact record by configuring a rollup via a Campaign Member.

First, create a custom number field on Contact (Number of Campaigns), then from the Rollups tab select New.

1. Select Contact as where you would like your results to reside.
2. Select your custom field (Number of Campaigns) as the field where you would like your results to reside.
3. For the source object, select Campaign Member with relationship ContactID - CampaignMember.ContactID, then select Deleted as the field on Campaign Member to use as a source.  Select Count.
