Dear PT, 

With Salesforce® Contacts, you can view their Account information. But at our company, we like to classify leads as Leads, not as Contacts. But Leads don’t display Account information. How can we extend Salesforce to get this functionality?

Dear Moe,

Good news: It can be done pretty quickly by using the app Lookup Helper with formula fields. Furthermore, if your Lead is from a company that doesn’t have an existing Account, field mapping can create that new Account. But why stop there? Once the Account is listed on the Lead, a lot more Account-related information can also be displayed on the Lead by using the Rollup Helper app. How’s that for extending Salesforce functionality?
