Our journey with Salesforce® began in 2008 when we started offering consulting services. In 2010, we launched what would eventually become our adaptable project management solution, Milestones PM+. When our first customer noticed a gap in the capabilities of our project management solution with syncing up the dates in their project plans, we explored what Salesforce had to offer and discovered we needed to build a custom solution.
This date syncing problem uncovered a major unmet rollup and aggregation need on the Salesforce platform. To meet this need, in 2012 we decided to invest more time into the creation and launch of our app Rollup Helper, which is the original Rollup Platform on the AppExchange.

The Wait is Over for ”Soft” Data Validation Rules and Warnings!
Since July 31, 2007, members of the Salesforce Community have been clamoring for ”soft” data validation rules and warnings to be added to the platform. On that date, a post was added to the IdeaExchange, and since then it has garnered some 25,000 points and more than 2,500 votes. Milestones PM+ Adds New Print Gantt Field Filters
Milestones PM+ new Print Gantt Field Filters allow you to add filters on any field when you’re printing the gantt chart or saving it as a PDF. Filters are available for all child records, so you have way more flexibility. To see the full list of updates, check out Release Notes v15.1. Giddyup!
You can see the new Project/Milestone/Task field filters at the Program level in the example below.

Lookup Helper Adds Flexibility for Parent & Child Filter Settings, Plus Criteria-based Matching 👀 Sneak Peek!
Lookup Helper recently added efficiency enhancements for settings using parent and/or child filters and updated the API version of triggers deployed in-app. To a see the full list of updates, visit Release Notes v10.6. Check out the list below for highlights.
- Enabling real-time on fields used in parent/child filters
- For example: Let's say we have a Lookup Helper setting, which uses Account as the child object and a child filter that includes a criterion > AnnualRevenue > 100,000. When AnnualRevenue on an Account is $90,000 and edited to be $200,000, this will cause the setting to run in real-time, provided a trigger is enabled on Account. Previously, the setting would only run if the parent or child field on their respective objects was edited
- Populating the middle name field when creating Contact category records
- Enabling or disabling real-time per Lookup Helper setting
- You heard it here first! Criteria-based matching will be available soon, so stay tuned!
