App News & Updates

Rollup Helper additions and updates:

Added “Ends with” and “does not end with” filter logic options when creating and editing filters. When setting filter criteria for source records or parent records, you can now create criteria that ends with or doesn’t end with a particular string. For example, if you want to rollup the amount of contacts to account, but only for those contacts who use Gmail, then you can set criteria email ends with '@gmail.com' to accomplish this.

Rollup Helper filter logic options

Ability to delete multiple rollups at once - either all rollups in a Rollup Group, or all selected rollups. From the All Rollups tab, you can select any amount of rollups using the Select column on the left of the all rollups table, and then select 'Delete Select Rollups' to mass delete rollups. If you’re using a rollup group and want to delete all rollups in the group, just select 'Delete Rollups' to achieve this.

Ability to use a custom delimiter for Text rollups. This allows you to select Custom Delimiter and manually enter any characters to be a delimiter. For example, if you need to rollup the Case company name to account, but require them to be separated by '&,' their rollup value will be Company1&Company2, etc.

Rollup Helper Custom Delimiter

Option to have Average rollups count null values as “0.” This Advanced Configuration option allows rollups to count null value source fields as "0" toward Average Rollups. It ensures that all records are counted toward the average, even if they have a null value for the source field.

Search functionality to the filter configuration process: sort fields, filter fields, and foreign key filter fields. Now you can search for sort fields, filter fields, and foreign key filter fields during filter configuration, allowing for faster selection of fields.

Note: Rollup Helper v15.11 release was push upgraded to all environments on October 30. See the Release Notes for more information.

Lookup Helper updates include:

Lookup Helper has added a checkbox to the Realtime Enablement page that, when checked, will cause any Lookup Settings on that object to run asynchronously. Do you need lookup settings to run asynchronously all the time? Lookup Helper now features a checkbox on the Realtime Enablement page for each object that enables all lookup settings on that object to run asynchronously. If you have a lot of automation on an object or would like Lookup Helper to run in its own execution context, you’ll find this option helpful.

Lookup Helper Text

Lookup Helper proactively displays a warning on the All Settings and Health Check pages. An alert is displayed on the Health Check and the Lookup Settings pages to alert you that issues could arise if the settings are not changed when you configure the "Percentage of Usage Limits" to be less than 60% and/or the "Record Scope" to be less than 50 records.

Checking “Suppress Warning Level Errors” (like the “Multiple Possible Parent Records” error) option in Lookup Helper App Settings. Warning level errors alert the Administrator that there may be an issue so they can look into it. The "Suppress Warning Level Errors" checkbox allows the Admin to disable warning level errors from being logged in the system. This is helpful if the Admin is being spammed by error notifications or if they no longer want to receive warning level error messages.

Passage Technology’s Awesome Admin Tip of the Month

“Did you know you can search for any non-lookup field in a Lightning list view regardless if it's displayed? Forget your contact's name but know their job title? Just type it in the search bar and your contact is sure to be found.”
