Dear PT, 

Our company’s IT department has a steady backlog of new projects and new processes to undertake. And they are good at what they do. However, each individual action plan is built from the ground up. Plus, they operate in a bit of a silo—other functions need to be involved to ensure success. We’d like to add project management discipline to these projects and process implementations. Where do we begin?

Recently, we launched a new app, Data Quality Helper. It gives Admins and users much more functionality than the default Salesforce data quality tools. As mentioned in our recent blog post, data validation rules and warning messages are now more customizable—something the Salesforce Community has wanted for quite some time.

But that’s only half of the story.

Since July 31, 2007, members of the Salesforce Community have been clamoring for a new feature to be added to the platform—”soft” data validation rules and warnings. On that date, a post was added to the IdeaExchange, and since then it has garnered some 25,000 points and more than 2,500 votes. The people have spoken, and they overwhelmingly support this idea.

Today is the perfect day to let your Admin know how much you appreciate them.

We love Rollup Helper. We use it in so many ways. However, we work with a lot of different business segments, and would like to create rollups that only populate to certain parent objects—like only up to Customer Accounts instead of Prospects. Is there a way to filter our rollup results?
